I do real estate business. Things went pretty good for a couple of years. Then the financial crisis came up. At the beginning of the financial crisis, my business was about to collapse. The bankruptcy was around the corner. I started to have negative thoughts, my faith lowered, my business partners began to avoid me. I did not only feel the pressure of every transaction, but my body also felt uncomfortable.
I was experiencing serious headaches every night. It seemed that I was really at my wits end. I was so desperate that I did not know what to do. A close friend of mine told me about Reiki. I must confess I knew little about it. my friend recommended me to have a healing session with Reiki. I wasn't very pleased with the idea, but I was ready to try it.
I had nothing to lose, after all. So, I drove about 50 miles to get my Reiki massage. I was really tired at the end of the trip. The Reiki practitioner was very kind and explained to me what Reiki was. An energy force will flow through my mind, through her hands, she explained. It was the so called "palm healing", it wasn't an ordinary relaxation massage.
I must confess I did not feel anything special at the beginning of the Reiki healing session. But afterwards, I really felt charged with an empowering energy. All my repressed emotions, fear and guilt, disappeared. I felt, instead, an amazing peace of mind that I felt flowing through my mind and body.
It was a life-changing experience, like a culmination of a journey with so many obstacles. I was grateful for it. At that moment I made a vow that I would learn how to heal myself with Reiki techniques.
