Reiki certificates and organizations
There are so many Reiki organizations and Reiki certificates that it's sometimes difficult to choose between the many alternative medicine schools. Many of them are concerned with the attunements and preserving Mikao Usui's techniques, while others choose to adapt to modern lifestyle.
It's up to you to choose between the many alternative medicine schools but I strongly recommend that you get as much information as you can before making a decision and it's usually best to just follow your gut.
When you're done looking, it's important to establish a connection of trust and harmony with the Reiki Master or Healer you choose, otherwise your Reiki treatment or attunement will be worthless.
Here are some things to consider when looking for a complementary and alternative medicine school:
"Teacher's healing approach"
The healing approaches of various reiki schools and reiki certificates are different, so you must choose a school that fits your personality.
"Teacher's methodology"
Some teachers consider the attunements sacred and don't reveal the symbols to people outside their schools. Others are more open. You can ask the teacher from a particular school to explain to you his methodology of teaching.
"Costs"
Certificate reiki classes may be free or charge up to thousands of dollars. Most Reiki teachers don't claim absolute cure no matter the training fee, so promises that sound too good to be true, usually are.
The following list contains professional Reiki Organizations from across the Globe. However, take it only as a guideline and make your own research before choosing where to take your reiki classes. Before choosing any of these, try to talk to other people that have been healed by some of these practitioners, to get an idea of their practices.
